Classics at the Clubhouse - Aircooled Edition 2023 on 18th June at Sandford Springs Golf Club RG26 5RT

I went this year and it was a really good mix of aircooled VW and Porsche in a lovely setting.

For 2023 there's 2 curated displays - 75 years of the 356 and Air Cooled Outlaws.

Good to hear Danny. We can go along together in the twelves.

This is now only 10 days away and I think there's going to be a great turnout and mix of VWs and Porsche.

Now there's going to be 5 curated displays - 75 years of 356, Outlaws, 75 years of Porsche, Into the wild and 246k yard.

Porsche are an official sponsor too.

I’m going now - taking my new (to me) 76 911S. It should be easy to spot - Oak green metallic. I doubt there’ll be another one there the same. It’s a nice event, in a good location.

Really looking forward to this - it’ll be a first time/new event for us. Seems we will be parked up with all the other 356s on the 11th fairway - hopefully I’ll keep it out of any bunkers (which will be a first for me when ‘driving’ on a golf course).

Looking forward to this, not sure if I'll be in my 912 yet as the rear suspension is currently in bits... EDIT: All fixed and back together... Phew.
