DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I am in the process of having my front uprights sorted for my 1969 B-Series S. They are Konis - part number 901 341 079 10 and are dated week 52 1968 which would make sense.

I am not sure if adjustables were standard on 'S' - I suspect they were a factory option but I also don't know what colour they should be painted - any ideas anyone??
