I’ve got a 76 that’s a steel wide body / iroc style with basically a fully rebuilt 2.7 rs engine in it.
It was built as an FIA spec race car so £20k engine build (excluding parts !) and then another £22k in parts bills on top of that. + full respray and no rust.
Previous owner spent c. £100k on getting it to this stage !
It was never raced and is road registered and taxed.
Still needs work though.
May be too late for you.
