Needs some money throwing at it but could be a fun car.

Lovely project. Body appears sound. Beware them asking for a deposit to secure the car.

That’s silver911SC’s of this parish.

He’s 100% genuine and has recently bought a ‘67 so this has to go (have I got that right James?)

Im not sure who is currently selling it, but I know a previous owner. I gather the description that the body needs to go on a jig is definately correct !

Say's unsold. It's been on and off of ebay for over a year now.

Yeah. I know it’s RHD and that there are the bits there (in whatever condition) for a hot 2.7 motor, but if it does want serious bodywork you could easily be spending £100k+ to get that car on the button and it’ll only ever be a bitsa. You need someone who really wants the fun of a project and doesn’t mind the cost to take something like that on.

I’d much sooner spend £40-£50k on a useable LHD car and hot up the motor down the line.

Front bulkhead looks to be from a later IB car

Matt is correct.

That WAS my car and it has gone to a good home. I had toyed with the idea of selling her many times but having just picked up a SWB project, I simply couldn’t keep both.

The new owner is going to tidy the interior with a load of nice parts/panels I had from Matt and others. He’s then going to seal the engine a bit, remove the race clutch, tune her, and then run her as she stands. He used to own a genuine 2.7 RS so knows his way around them.

As some said, you could put £100k in to her, or put £10k in to her and have a load of fun. The new owner is going to do the later :)

….now on with sourcing SWB parts!! This is going to be so much harder than sourcing all those LWB parts, and that was tricky enough.

I knew that car years (30/35?) ago when David Lees lived in Sanderstead round the corner from my parents. He always had interesting cars on his drive. Parr used to be in Old Coulsdon then.
