Part Fabrication - Pedal Car

Post by ghia70 »

Hi,

Would anyone be able to make a part for the pedal assembly for a pedal car I'm restoring. Can send diagram across but in essence its a 8mm rod with 6mm threaded ends and a couple of small recesses for two circlips. rod will be approx 36cm long with 15mm of thread at each end.

Pedal car is a 1965 triang F1 car

appreciated any assistance

thanks

Hello Danny
That is something I can do for you.
I have some black steel bar, exactly 360mm long (!)
Please pm a sketch esp detailing the circlip groove size and positions. I do not have any circlips though, but you can get them easy off ebay.
Please also pm an address I can post the rod to.

Regards, Graham.
