The car doesn't look too bad to me. The rear quarter panels appear to be original because the RHS lock post (door jamb) is still pre-71.

The wrong little details like Mike mentioned can be easily sorted.

Yes, small details. Looks nice and a rare colour.
Engine bay body colour?
H1’s with H4 lenses?

Shush Mike. That’s possibly the best S in Australia.

Well it’s certainly better than the other S they have.

There are some places selling early Porsche that ooze charm, experience, in depth knowledge and a willingness to come and go on price based on the fact that the purchaser may have ‘studied the form’ a bit. Dutton is not one of those places so you have to be ever more vigilant when buying and ignore everything they say about a car and do your own research. They are what I would call ‘purveyors of fine automobiles’ in a sort of Knightsbridge way. That means they know jack sh!t about the finer details of each and every eclectic model they put up for sale. I’ve been watching them for a few years now, oh yes, and they charge top dollar.

They have a very carefully worded advert for the other S described by them as a 66S (no such thing) which says ‘Presented in Original Factory Aga Blue with Beige interior’ which Is quite ambiguous and probably meant to be. Judge the BEIGE interior and other details in this picture from the ad for yourself from what is supposed to be a 67S of ‘collector quality’.

Here’s a fun fact. UK Trading standards have recently told the property industry that putting POA on properties is unlawful under the consumer protection regulations: https://www.nationaltradingstandards.uk ... s-opinion/

It must therefore be the same for uk advertised cars. Whether they’ll actively outlaw the practice who knows.
