Hope y’all had fun. I passed a yellow 356 and a green 912 on my way to the seaside at 9am and immediately felt gutted to miss it.

What a fantastic day today! Even Mrs S said she enjoyed it! She also named my car - Gina (as in Orangina!)

I have to say the noise at 6,000 rpm is truly intoxicating!ImageImage

A day blessed with great weather and cars, good people and even good coffee (from an impossibly small shack). I especially enjoyed a well curated display of early significant cars by the main house, with informative info cards. The big display of Carrera Rs’s made less impact on me - other than sheer numbers. I’ll write a bit more about it later. Organisers had obvs worked very hard to make it good.

Was a really nice day today, weather was great and all the cars were stunning. Good to meet up with old friends and to put faces to ddkers I’ve not met before .

Did seem quieter than usual though and they need to sort the food out … or lack of it , but apart from that had a great day

Don’t worry I’ll get there, maybe without Mrs S in the car though! Image

Really enjoyed our trip out today in the SC, and it was great to be amongst so many lovely 356s (must have been close to 50 all told) and take in all the other wonderful KG Porsches. Great venue, lovely weather and wonderful cars - perfect (although the queues for the coffee were long!)

The highlight of my day was persuading a marshall that Greeny's RS was a backdated replica, with the result he was told to park it off to one side. Nick then had to use his best Lovejoy skills to convince him otherwise so he could join the RS display!

I'm glad the weather was good for the day and thanks Jeremy, James and Vracer for the great photos as I didn't make it this year.

I was struggling already before your dulcet tones wafted into his ear!
He’d stuck his head in and said ‘this is not areal one you’ve got electric windows!’🤔
It wasn’t easy!🤣

My ride there and back was the ex-jeremyg 356A, now for sale at Williams Crawford - such a wonderful car to drive, and without doubt one of the very best 356s I've ever experienced.

I just worked out the mileage there and back: 40mpg on the nose! Who says classic Porsches are expensive to run?
