Uprated engine mounts

Folks

I currently have SuperPro Purple engine mounts in the SC based RS Rep, but have found that the metal concave plates that are either side of the mount are deforming if I do a power start. As it’s a road car I don’t want to got to solid mounts. So was contemplating these H/D mounts?

Do these still require the concave plates and are they stiffer than the SuperPros?

Are there any other alternatives?

I can't answer your question except to try them. They will advise on using the factory cup washers.
I used the purple plastic bushes with the cup washers and deformed a few of the engine ones, box ones were fine.
This was across about 10 years of hillclimb starts with sticky Kumho v70 tyres, 4500 rpm dump-the-clutch starts too.

They killed the 'tramping' vibrations instantly, but I left the cup washers as deformed alone for those years.

Now on rubber sport mounts and new cup washers for road only cruising.
