I’m heading to Warwick services a bit later, 10:00 ish. Didn’t want to arrive at Bicester too early.

Enjoy the day, everyone. After a dreadful night's sleep, switched the alarm off at 4.00am - couldn't face a four hour drive after zero sleep...

Traffic on entry is carnage. We are stationary and 2.5miles out…

This is the problem with single entry/exit venues at the end of a long lane...

Apparently some cars were queuing for over an hour to get in. Not enough food stands, think there were 2. Queues were 20 people deep for a burger.

Yes, I did queue for about an hour, and yes not so many food stands, but it was a good event with a nice relaxed feel. It did certainly attract a huge number of Porsches of all ages. I saw plenty of familiar cars but never managed to catch up with anyone I knew other than Jonny, who was a sitting duck on the Classic Retrofit stand.
Not sure I’d go again, I prefer smaller event where I stand a chance of meeting people I know.

Really enjoyed it, must have got there at the right time, drove straight in, but heard a lot of people saying about the queues in. I took food with me too. Saw loads of people I knew. The selection of cars was incredible. It was a lot bigger than last year so I guess they need to think about how to rectify those things but I will definitely be there again next year.

Agree with all that - arrived at 12.30pm and no problems at all getting in. Last to leave to too so no problems there either!…

I also planned to get there a bit later and drove straight in, also didn’t bother with food until the queues died down and then had a lovely pulled pork over chips thing. Didn’t even have to queue for a toilet.

All it takes is a bit of fore thought, and management of expectations.

It was a much bigger and better event than I expected and some of the cars they had managed to get together were staggering, Frank obviously knows the right people.

I’m sure they will make changes to improve things, it is still a young show but obviously it’s success brings problems to address.

I’d definitely go again.
