Maybe its time

Post by Burma-Shave »

Just starting to think about moving my 356 on. It just isn't getting used enough and I have a big mortgage.
Posting in this section first because I am really sad, steadying myself, and also I am not sure if my ex is keeping an eye on the classifieds.
Not sure what to ask. Might put it on collecting cars. The usual.

Good ol' 222499..

Always loved this car - I now live a stones throw from where you picked it up from - if my memory serves me well

Maybe I can pay you weekly in sexual favours?

Tough decision. Seem to remember you keeping with the 911s in the DDK Scotland trip. The memories are yours forever.

One of DDks best know road trip cars 8) .

I still look back and laugh at the drive we had when I was in my 993 chasing you in your 356 up the coast road from applecross heading to Shieldaig. Mental, run but by does that 356 fly

Thanks all! :-)

I have found it impossible to arrive at a value, the car is miles from perfect, somewhere between original, an outlaw and a race car..but its pretty, gans well and is maybe the latest chassis no. on a surviving 356 outside the states. They went to 222580. I think Seinfeld owns the last one.

So, the current plan is collecting cars, with a £50k reserve..

I think I’m going to let go of the targa too.

Sigh.

It’s more than £50k for sure. More than £60k I’d say.

Sad to hear, I remember letting you past at the bottom of Hartside, and then watching you quickly disappear.

How very dare you Mr Bardlsey! Only pay for my more exotic tastes, not the mundane.

If I was selling the 2cv I’d be all over it.

Think long and hard before you sell, good old Porsches are hard to find, but old cars that we have real ties to are irreplaceable!

All the best
