2.7RS spec with PMO's .. basic starting point

Post by hot66 »

A friend of mine has just had his 2.7RS spec motor with GE40 cams built. Its running PMO's , but he cant remember what size.

Assuming its the larger PMO's , anyone got a basic starting point for carb set up ready for the rolling road.. eg what size venturies and jets . What ever is in at the moments does not work as fine on the road upoto 4K revs, then nothing until almost 7K revs

If you can, ask PMO directly.
They have usually responded in 24 hours.

.

James - I've always found this chart useful for starting points on various engines:

I know it's not for PMO's but you can use it to get equivalent sized jets, etc
