Should I have a hole under the trim?

Post by neilbardsley »

On the metal trim either side of the rear window should there be a hole at the bottom to fix it? On the side which has come off I have a hole on the side which is still in place I don't.

yes Neil - there is a bracket (which slides into the sail panel trim) with a thread that goes through the hole.

I would imagine it actually slides into the groves either side of the trim, where you thumb is, then you bolt it up securely inside the engine bay with a nut that attaches to the thread on the clip.

Thank you Ian.

I was confused about the hole in the back of my trim. I'm guessing that has been added
