Usually open circuit plug leads are the cause of failure, so if you fit electronic ignition, fit new plug leads too

I seem to remember that I did email 123 ignition, and they directed me to their UK distributor, who I contacted, and they told me that they would have to get parts from the EU, and this was now too difficult and expensive. At that point I let it be, as I had other, more profitable ways of spending my time. Perhaps its time to try again...

Seems a pity not to use it and it probably just needs a new PCB.
The Bosch distributors are extremely good, better than Lucas IMO, but we’ve all got used to modern cars and no longer accept the maintenance they need. Also some wear such as the cam that opens the points isn’t easily fixed and the correct replacement springs will be hard to get.
The 123 works well provided the plug leads are to spec. They increase in resistance over time and this will cause distributor failure

I have a dizzy I took off my 12v 'B' if you want to try?
Revival fitted it as a replacement. It's new and only did about 200 miles with it.
I found a NOS stock one in Australia at a good price, so swapped it out.
I can dig it out and see what it is.
