I'm usually skulking around on the pre 74 - 911 Longhood page so I hope you don't mind the lack of knowledge on anything G series, post 74 and the subsequent question.

I am considering purchasing a rather stunning 87 Carrera 3.2 Sport Cabriolet, in silver - low owners and low mileage - approx 50k. Full OPC service history, all original documentation exists and the vehicle is matching numbers etc.

Although I've not actually viewed the car yet from the photos and description provided it really does appear to be in very, very good condition.
The big question is (as always) what would you expect to pay for such an example?

Thanks in advance
Simon

£50-60k

The lower miles might add more too.

Agreed. Maybe even £65k. A coupe with that history and spec would be £80k at a dealer now.

If I remember correctly 87 is the crossover year from 915 to G50. Bear in mind that people seem to pay more for the G50. I've not used a 915 but the G50 is really lovely to use and reputedly bulletproof.

87 are all G50. The changeover was the usual post-holiday Sep/Oct 86 for the 87 model year.
