Ian - I went to Rennsport Reunion IV at Laguna Seca with RGruppe in 2011 - well worth going IMO.

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Monterey (RGruppe had negotiated preferential rates).

I combined the race weekend with a 2-week trip down the West Coast via the Pacific Highway (Route 101) from San Francisco to Los Angeles & back again - one of those 'must do' drives - along with the west coast of Ireland ('Wild Atlantic Way') ...

Just back in today from the Wild Atlantic Way ( I live here) with Ronald Aardsee - European Chaptermeister RGruppe.
I went to Rennsport in 2019 - easily the best Porsche event I have yet been to - and I’ve been to a few!
Andy is spot on - make it a couple of weeks- do LA car stuff- Pacific Coast Highway - Yosemite, Death Valley, Mojave desert, Joshua Tree - all the stuff you read about.
Best yet buy https://www.curves-magazin.com/en/magaz ... lifornien/ and do the route- that’s what we did!
Just do it…..

cheers both - have done Highway 101 previously (although would love to do it again). Am I right in thinking they haven't formally confirmed its Laguna Seca yet?

We went in 2007 (?) at Daytona and it was totally awesome. I can imagine Laguna Seca being better still…

As you well know we were pre-children when we came last time Paul! (Funnily enough was only telling someone at the weekend about that night at the restaurant in the marina with us all) Would love to, but dragging them hillclimbing 10 weekends a year is a push, I think planning a holiday around racing would make me even less cool than I already am in their eyes!!

tickets have now gone on sale for PCA members.

If there's interest I can try to buy tickets for people as these prices - need to confirm I can do this without breaking the rules. any interest?
