Can you help?

Post by Cookie »

I will probably get a telling off but I thought more members would look at parts for sale than wanted adds. I am restoring a first 500 RS for a customer and he wants the detail correct. I need the following items. Vehicle build date was 1/73.

Compressed air bottle for the spare tyre (dated to suit! I know a big ask)
Fuel level sender (dated to suit working or non working)
2 x H4 headlights without the side light (LHD or just the reflectors)
Blanking grommet (plastic) for dash switch hole
Spark plug socket and Allen key
Phillips screwdriver
Pudenz fuse pack
Glycerine bottle
Jack
HRW (single heat, a working one!!)
Handbook (not a re-print)
Red wallet
Gear knob
Sun visors (LHD)
Sun visor clips (tall ones)
2 x stops for window regulators (bolt in the bottom of the door)
Petrol heater hole cover 901 504 747 00

Any help would be greatly received Gary GDC Automotive

Hi Gary

I may have a air bottle. If you haven't found one let me know and I'll have a look at the weekend

Cookie, if you are reading this, the black plastic cover I have off my '73T has no part number, but would cover a tube of 75mm dia.
The skirt of the cover is 15mm deep.
Let me know if of any interest.

Gary

I have a pair of LHD H4 headlights boxed but used (got them like this so don't know their history, presumably removed from a car a number of years ago), could do with a strip down and clean but pretty good condition. I also have a few spare chrome outer rings as well as three spare original LHD lenses.

If any of potential interest PM an email address and I can forward some photos.

HRW - do you mean the actual glass or the switch? If the switch I have 902.613.511.91 which I believe is single stage, however, it is untested.

I don’t think you would originally have found a 73RS supplied with a glycerine bottle. This was a 356/early 911 item held by a strap behind the glove box lid.

Mike
