Gauge fun

Post by tjp1978 »

Hi, trying to work through the Gauges at the mo and having a few issues.

i need to replace the Fuel gauge Female connector, where can i get them from?

Similarly, I have a replacement MPH Face, as the original had a KPH dial stuck on top, causing the blemishes on pic below.

Before i remove the "spacer/rivet" does anyone know where i can get another one from?

Any help, much appreciated

Your MPH dial is close to original to my 356A but there is a ' 0 ' missing and M.P.H should have full stops. But I have never seen one of those for sale anywhere so you did well to find that and of course it will work better for you. The individual items you require I cannot see on Roger Bray or Stoddard sites. Possibly PRS might have some but I think you would be lucky if they did. It seems moist get the gauges overhauled by a North Hollywood repair company in the States.

But possibly you could get the small rivet? made by someone if you can remove it.

Sorry no real answer to your questions though. PRS probably have spare instruments to sell maybe worth a call to them to see if they have the parts you need.

Sorry

Do you have a Marine store near you?

It does not look that much different from an eyelet which you buy in all shapes and sizes, plus the pliers to fold over the ends on the opposite side?
