Here is a picture of my car on the day it was finally delivered after months of it being delayed for just about every reason possible.

The unfortunate thing is the previous owner had started to strip the car for spares long before I got the tip off of a car that needs to be saved from a friend- it took some time but I was able to purchase the car.

It had a repaint to red from its original L21e quite Early in its life and was once a true time capsule but unfortunately the immaculate interior, bumpers, wheels and a number of other parts were long gone- the car was left in a barn

Nice! The more here on the U.K. roads, the better.

Fortunately lots of original and repro parts available for teeners, albeit most with US shipping and duties attached.
914rubber’s range of parts is really impressive now, if you haven’t seen already.

I still have a few random bits and pieces here in London, left over from my standard car to GT build.

Once you know what you need, post here and on the UK914 Facebook page and let’s see if we can help.
For starters I have a really nice condition backpad available if you need one.
No chrome bumpers though, sorry. Stephen (defianty) got my ones before you :-)

Keep us updated with pics and progress

Over the years, iv imported a reasonable amount of cars, volkswagen campers and a few other rarities and iv never had a issue, unfortunately the seller of this car felt it necessary to steel parts from the car and swap a few other bits out after id purchased it, I guess its always a gamble buying long distance but given the chance to put right his wrong he simply responded.. have a nice life.

Its always hard to start a project on a negative note but I eventually come to terms with the fact I'm finally building a car for myself after many years of making sure others had the cars of their dreams.

When I started to disassemble the car, the list soon grew of what had been stolen and when paired with the list of parts required to correct the issues I knew of ... well let's just say im a few quid in now.
