Hi!

Post by Nick70 »

I’m based just outside Bath and have just sold my 930 turbo to buy a 1969 911S. It’s been used as a track/race car for the past 30 years so is no longer original, but that’s what appealed to me - the look of the pre-impact bumper car but with a little bit more power. The engine was built as a 2.9 (with a 2.7 MFI pump and S cams) by Josh Sadler, and the suspension/brakes have also been upgraded. I’m currently softening it a bit so it’s more comfortable as a road car, but love the lighter feel and the balance compared to the turbo. It’s been built as an RS replica, and while I’ve always preferred keeping things original, this is close enough to my perfect car that I’m happy to keep it the way it looks now.
It’s great to have so much knowledge to draw on here, I look forward to many hours spent trawling through the site!

Am I right in thinking I can only post images that are below a certain file size? If so I’ll have a go at re-sizing later and post them then.

....Flickr is your friend :) .....

.....simply upload to the website and then copy and paste the BBCode, I find a pixel size of circa 1024 wide to be about the best.
