Welcome to DDK Nick and a lovely car you have there. Well bought too I think (I was also bidding on it). As Darren said, there are a few regulars around your neck of the woods so hopefully see you on a drive some time.

Thanks for all the positive comments, much appreciated. Yes, that’s right, I bought it via a Collecting Cars auction at the end of August - always a bit of a risk but I was reassured by the names/specialists involved. The guy selling had owned and raced it for 30 years and had obviously got it set up really well for track use and whilst it’s great fun thrashing round the lanes I’m making it a bit more user-friendly for road use.

Couple of quick questions - Darren, I’ve just had a look at your 72 2.5, what a thing of beauty that is. What seats do you have in it, are they from D’eser? I’m looking for a pair to replace the Recaro Poles that are in mine currently and they look fantastic.
Yoda - I’m looking at exhausts and noticed a thread where you were discussing a new exhaust for your car. Did you choose one, any recommendations?
