Perhaps this weekend display could take the place of Stanford Hall this year?

I'll check the calendar to see if I can fit it in....

The guys at Retro Rides have kindly confirmed our 'usual spot' along with the area opposite and running down the side of that building if needed.

Going to do my best - had a super weekend last year - the sprints are great!

For anyone who hasn’t been, this is a great event if you like modified old cars. It’s kind of the antithesis to your Style et Luxe affairs. A massive variety of metal, mostly put together in people’s garages with a focus on fun rather than investment value.

I enjoy a discussion on correct colour passivation as much as the next person, but this show is a nice reminder of the simple joy of dicking around with cars.

Hey Ollie, many thanks for the lend of your battery, I do hope I didn't suck all the juice out of it with my starting woes, and many thanks to the good guy in the orange 911 (sorry, I didn't get your name) for finally getting me going. My battery, which was new actually, took full charge on my trip back home. Once again, thank you both very much.

Hi Ignatzcatz,
No worries, glad I could help and great news you had no more issues.
The car looked awesome by the way. 8)
