Nitrous

Post by Ignatzcatz »

Anybody fitted a nitrous kit onto their 911? I had a 150hp set up on my 289 s/b V8 Ford in my Ford Pop which was great fun - until I blew the head gaskets out of it. Still it's a super easy way of getting instant mega horsepower. I'm sure some of those nasty VW drag engines were running some juice. It would only be for my 2.4 engine which has Webers so no injection headaches to get around.

I can offer no practical help, but just to say I’m fully behind the idea. You’d be my hero.

Lots of vdub drag cars running it … but what your trying to achieve with the 356 / 6 pot ? Drag racing ?

Otherwise I can’t see where you’d press the button in normal road use ? . Maybe look at a home brewed turbo ?

Mmmmm, nitrous. Now you’re talking. Loved it on my race car and also on my Fastback road car. Great fun!

The garage must be finished Graham and you need to spend some money.
