apologies for blatant rip-off but saves me having to repost it and the PH crew don't seem interested in it... probably not enough pop-pop-bang-bangs

I will keep updates here and Impact Bumpers now that work is progressing at a decent rate.

I remember when this car was listed on Pelican. (Would be a $40-45K price tag in today’s loony market?) I think your EFI is likely from Bitz Racing, www.bitzracing.com, not the prettiest* set-up ever but more to the point has an excellent reputation for operating well once mapped properly and lasting forever. There’s an online group where folks with that system help one another and the website may include dyno results that IIRC showed something like a 15-20 bop bump over CIS. [My 82 SC still has a healthy CIS system but I’ve researched the Bitz system just in case.]

Re *pretty engine bays: the ITB look is obviously more pleasing, but we read many stories about the difficulties of getting such systems running nicely.

Best of luck to you,
John.

yes it is Tony's Bitz system, worked really well hot or cold. I have now had it updated to MS2 with a driver to batch fire LS2 CoP's and a Spartan wide band lambda to fine tune the AFR.

I probably won't bother with ITB's - Too much hassle, I am happy with the hp it has and want to keep it simple and usable.

The engine is now nearing completion, the cams will be timed up over the weekend so hopefully back to me in the next few weeks and then the fun of trying to fit it back in and starting it!
