Update following the DDK/Greatworth Swapmeet...

Post by Bootsy »

So those who braved the weather at the Greatworth / DDK Swapmeet would have seen buckets wafted under their noses and of course the traders who booked a plot will have also parted with some of their hard earned funds.

All of this was to help swell the funds for MacMillan Cancer - our DDK nominated Charity

and guess what?

We raised £779.27 on the day

So a big thank you to all who attended and helped make the event a success - even if the Porsche Gods had a day off when it came to the weather!

So in terms of the big picture and our fund raising page ...............

£35,470 raised by 649 supporters!!!!!!!!

That's some achievement so pat yourself on the back.

And remember this plus a Karting Endurance event and previous fundraising put's DDK's total at well over £70,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you one and all.

Great job! It’s a pleasure to be part of this wonderful, like-minded community when I hear about ‘giving back’ initiatives like this!

I was very impressed by members willingness to donate on the gate
