Interesting!
Today, the road noise was really obvious for some reason, esp the A roads which are anything but smooth, but the tyre noise is irritating, even thought of weighing it down with a few square meters of deadening 'tiles' but those made no difference in my old 911!
Have to turn the radio up.

Finding myself lusting for a new type BMW Z4.....

Road noise was an issue on the previous Boxsters, especially on Brit roads, it is on all cars but my MKVI Bentley, which was the quietest car I’ve owned. However when I drove my 987 across France, there was very little and the exhaust/intake drone took over as the most intrusive. Brit roads are the worst in the world, Madagascar excepted. Your car has the quieter engine, so may not be that same as my older 987.
