I am looking at buying a 993 'project' car and the only information I have is the VIN.
Is there anyway of finding out the VRN with just this, so that I can apply to the DVLA for a V5C?
Thanks.

A trade HPi check certainly used to do this.

Wonder what would happen if you went to an OPC, tried to order a part for the car by giving the VIN and then casually asking if they have a VRN listed?
