Pre-impact bumper 911S project cars don't seem to come up that often but BAT has one at the moment. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-porsche-911-19/
Interested to see what price it fetches.
I really want a 911S but my missis wouldn't withstand another 911. It'd have to be a really special car to replace one I have as I'm quite attached to them. It IS an S engine, but not the original one.

Went for £23k that car 911S. Gotta be £75k of work in it I would say. The floor and chassis look almost nonexistent. Just goes to show cheap pre impact bumper esses do come along.

When I first saw the pictures in this link, I wasn't taking too much attention because of the condition and it's in America, but now I realise it's an Euro model. So, I think it has potential and worth it for restoration especially at that price. Someone like Barry can replace the whole floorpan easy. The front trunk doesn't look too bad.

The '69S is a great model as its engine is the nearest you could get to the the 911R, 906 type, etc.

It feels a bit like a missed opportunity to be fair, as I thought it would fetch more like $60k. But I have enough on at the moment anyway.

Isn't the '69 car a one-year-only car and full of awkward parts (to find).
Did it stay in the USA?

Yes, the '69 is a one-year only car but the awkward parts to find are the '68 ones (interior stuff). Come to think of it, all longhood 911 parts are difficult to find. I can't even find green primer body panels like wings and rear quarters, etc.
