Gas Monkey Garage - 69S
Looks like Gas Monkey are selling off some of their stock, incl. this 69S. Plenty of pics...

Woh! I think it needs a lot of work too. I'll be seeing Richard at Knebworth next weekend, so I'll ask him what the deal is....

Re: Gas Monkey Garage - 69S
Looks fundamentally solid and complete to me... early 911S project cars are like air-cooled rocking horse poop at the moment. But $85k for a project car - I CAN see how it will stack up financially as a project given the prices they fetch when done.deano wrote:Woh! I think it needs a lot of work too. Doesn't have its original '69S engine.
Looks like a bottomless money pit to me ...

Re: Gas Monkey Garage - 69S
When you say money pit... if you were to say £60k I wouldn't disagree. Old S models in mint condition seem to go for £125+ so it does stack up as a project car. I didn't realise the engine was non-original though - that's a bit of a fly in the ointment.

Re: Gas Monkey Garage - 69S
Look at the rot in it. You’d spend way over £50k on that car. If you did it properly using well known specialists £80k would soon disappear.

Hot rods look great value at the moment. Looks like everyone wants a Porsche and no one wants a rod.
