No, sorry! This year's calendar is a bit of a dog's breakfast....... :?
We hope to be back competing at Harewood in the British Hillclimb Cup next year. I do hope they have more than one single day British championship event in 2022.

Cheers!

perfect well we will definitely see you there. I have set it up as an event on our fb page. Not sure how many will be coming though but I will let you know details of meet points etc if you are interested.

I've never been so not sure about the format. Do they have catering vans there? It says 9am start but what time does the racing start / finish? Just trying to plan out the morning.

Thanks

Normally practice will start about 9am, so there will be something to see from then on, although probably no commentary until the timed runs start. Unusually for a hillclimb, the main paddock is at the top of the hill, and the cars go down to the start line in batches. You can see 80% of the course from the top viewing areas, and the overall view from there is spectacular. There are many places along the track that you can walk to to get closer to the action.
There's usually a catering marquee in the paddock, but I would recommend bringing something to eat and drink as well, if you find somewhere that you want to watch the action from further down the hill.
Have a great day!

there are some great viewing points if you are ok with a pretty steep walk back up the hill
down at the start line is always interesting as is the view at the bottom watching them come through the S's.
probably the best place for photos is on the corner as the cars come past the farm

is yours the green 914. The blue Targa is Andy Kenworthy who is a TIPEC member, pretty sure he's coming on the 19th too. Looking forward to it.
