Saw drill that am I missing (

Post by neilbardsley »

I bgt a 44mm saw drill to open my heart insulator for my Webers but it will not fit in my chuck? Am I missing a piece? Perhaps this fits directly into the shaft that my chuck fits into? I have to remove the chuck?

They usually have an “arbor”.
A holder than can have pins to grip the saw (like dowels on a flywheel), and a small conventional drill bit for centring.

That looks like a Bosch one? They have a quick release system, your missing the bit that goes in the drill.
