Excellent! Will be good to catch up.

My own plans have gone fluid again as my Dad is seriously unwell and ended up in hospital whilst he was visiting us this weekend, probably for the last time.

I’m hoping things will stabilise and I can get him back home (120 miles south).

I really need some time out talking car shite for a few hours so hope still to come down :)

I'll keep you both in prayer, and hope to meet up with you all.

Cheers Thomas, He's out and back with me now, hopefully I can take him back South to his own home tomorrow if he's up for it.

What time is everyone aiming to arrive?
The blurb says it opens at 5pm, but do people arrive earlier.
We are going to spend the day down in the area and move to the place late afternoon.

I should be there around 1745-1800, given traffic on the M42/M40.

Never been before - does anyone know if buying a ticket for a car nets you a table outside too, or you have to call separately to book a table?

It didn’t last time I was there a couple of months ago. There were plenty of free tables so if you are able to get there at a reasonable time you should be ok

I'll be there. Looking forward to it.

The entry ticket just gets you through the gate. If you want to eat then you pick a free table (I don't think these are pre-bookable) and use the table number when you order your food through something called an 'app'. I took my son with me last time, which ensured I had someone with me who knew what to do with an 'app'.
