Hello Gary,

I purchased an aluminium rear deck lid together with an aluminium number plate panel. the deck lid is only positioned loosely. but seems to be a good shape to the rear wings. will need some fettling.
will mention it to the body guy. I have some hard type rubber washers if i get stuck... thanks Gary for the help!

Thanks Thomas…..

Took longer than expected with stripping it back simply because of losing the weather and finding a dry day to continue with work. Got about two full days remaining to strip out petrol tank and paint removal.

Maybe we go out for a spin next year…. Ha

Thanks Lee

Wiper motor has a steady strap fitted, can only be un bolted with dash top off.
Heater box comes out easy.

Or you can get to it through a combination of the speaker hole and the clock hole. Just ;)

Take lots of photos of the wiring to the wiper motor, resistor etc as if it works properly now then this will save you ages when it goes back together trying to work it out.

I got mine out recently through the clock and speedo holes. Just undo the top 2 bolts on the strap, remove the wipers and bolts that hold them in and you should be able to wiggle it out. Its a tight fit, but with a bit of patience it will come out.
My advice would be to put some electrical tape around the wiper holes when you reinstall it again, which will avoid damaging the paint around the wiper holes.
