911/912 Roof Racks

Post by Heritage Parts »

With summer almost here why not take the chance to tour with your 911 (or 912).

We have a limited quantity of Vintage Speed roof racks due soon to give that retro look and feel.

Precision designed and laser-cut from stainless steel by CAD, and, polished as well as tig-welded to “show” standards. The rack base is made-up of equal length, vertically arranged varnished pine rods. The ensemble is contoured for a more ergonomic roof fit, and is quite aerodynamic, yielding little or no wind resistance.

Includes stainless steel nuts and bolts as well as protective pads for the rack base and roof eave hooks.

We also have a 356 one coming in soon too.

Hi Carlos77,

We should have updated you, apologies.

These have been delayed due to shipping delays and are en-route. I will ask someone to give you a call you.

That's a big old shipping delay, coming from Mars perhaps?

To be fair there is lots of shipping problems at the moment, we are experiencing similar delays. The cost of a container went from 3000 dollars to 10000. Then the canal blockage didn’t help !

The biggest issue currently as mentioned is the Suez Canal issue, as most probably know the container ship still hasn't been unloaded and is being held until the fine is paid.

This is currently the biggest issue of shipping delays.

They make no secret of the fact they're from Vintage Speed in Taiwan, the quality of whose work is second to none. But they've really been hit by the global shortage of shipping containers - and that mess in the Suez Canal didn't help.

Thanks Keith. I knew it must be out that way somewhere considering the logistics.

Hi Lund,

They have landed and sold out. We are waiting for the next shipment to arrive now and the lead time has been updated. We would advise setting up an alert for when they come back in to stock to avoid them selling out again.
