Chain Tensioners

Post by carl »

My '70 2lt chain tensioners have different part numbers. One is 901.105.519.0R and the other is 901.105.519.00
On the 0R the piston/shaft was protruding 2mm less than the 00. I have now rebuilt both.(0R still protruding 2mm less) The internal components were identical. The only difference is the body sizes. This is what causes the difference in piston /shaft height. Why the difference?
