Fantastic build Jon.
Not sure how far down the line you are with the throttle bodies that you are waiting for
but Jenvey have just released a heritage throttle body kit for 911 engines
https://www.jenvey.co.uk/media-centre/n ... sche-kits/
I have just fitted a set to a 3.2 Carrera that I'm building at work. I helped Mike Jenvey
with the project earlier this year and had a set fitted to my 3.2 Carrera Speedster. for a
couple of months. The quality is superb, as you would expect from Jenvey.
I thought it might be of interest to you.

Merry Christmas.

Andy

Beautiful, fantastic details as always.

Do you need headlamps washers with LED lights?

Cars equipped with xenon headlights are required to have headlight washers to keep them clean. This is necessary because dirt and dust can scatter the light and blind other motorists. The cleaning system usually consists of a high-pressure jet of screen wash, but can even use small wipers.

They are not required on LED Headlights -

Cars over 40 years old here are not required to have a test so not an issue either way. But good to know if it ends up back in the UK.

On to the final furlong with this project now. The Fuel/Ignition package finally arrived from the States.

Throttle Bodies, manifolds, coil packs, sensors, ECU, wiring loom, etc.

Couldn't resist quickly assembling the throttle bodies and manifolds even though I'll have to take them apart again to instal.

The engine was already in the car but fitting the induction system in situ is not too hard.

Ready to fire up.

Image

Then set up of the ECU, cold start being the most tedious as you only get one shot at it each morning, make your changes and then wait for the next day to see if they had the desired effect.

And off for a first quick test drive whilst the rare (in recent weeks) dry road was available.
