Thanks Andy
Seems a shame to sit a less than perfect body on top of this wonderful chassis but I guess it's inkeeping with the much loved racing car image I had in mind!

All the best

Paul is a real one stop shop for these cars, chassis, engines and glassfiber.
The gearboxs are farmed out to Mike Bainbridge (who's only a few miles from me), it kinda goes without saying I recermend both of them to anyone!

Good Morning All
Here are the latest pics from the rebuild...
The front section of the body is back and fixed to the chassis, while the correct three dail dash plate is now in it's place.
Other than that I think I'll let the photos speak for themselves

Image

I will however add that the boot paneling is also going in as I type...

It's great to see the car back to looking like a car again but I'll miss all the cool front suspention detail, still I'll have a nice tidy boot
to admire in the future...

All the best
Ian

That is coming together very nicely. Do you have three brake reservoirs?

Hi Neil
Thanks, I think the reservoirs are for front and rear brakes respectively plus the clutch.
Obviously the steering coloum and fuel tank still have to go in, less obvious are the lightwight battery (moved from the rear), fuel pump and oil cooler lines (you can just make out the red stoppers for this at the front) that will also be fitted up front.

All the best
Ian F.

Strangely from the moment Paul started work on my car the whole thing has just fallen into place, hey maybe it's not that strange after all... ;-)

Morning All
The ‘primary pipes’ are now wrapped, it wasn’t a fun job and I owe Paul a beer or three!

Definitely looks the part.

Latest update, yesterday Paul had the chance to ‘test fit’ the rear ‘clam’ with some smart new hinges...

She's looking more and more like a car with every update.
Excited, yeah more than a little! ;-)
