Thanks Tim. I've got the schematic off pelican but only have the engine to generate the signal! Now I've got two to try anyway!

Great update Graham and good work on getting the motor in. Look forward to your driving impressions ...... bet it would be great over the Black Mountains!

Ah, that's a wonderful thought Feroz!

One of the things still on my list is adding a front arb which I am struggling with. There's the elephant racing one from the US which will be slow to arrive and expensive, but not finding any other options at the moment.

I presume you've tried the usual sources so maybe call a few of the specialists in your area as they often keep a good supply of used parts for customers etc? I know Jaz has an extensive supply stashed away but not sure of they will sell them on a parts only basis.

Yes, I've only really looked at the parts suppliers, I'll go back to basics and see what the specialists have and are willing to sell. Good idea Feroz

Can anyone help with fuel line info please? The photo of what I have with the tank is below. Originally a carbed 2.0T. I looked at PET and ordered a "ring piece" banjo fitting plus the banjo bolt. Now what has arrived is a M12 banjo fitting and an M14 bolt. I don't have the car near me to check, but from the picture it looks like M12 not M14 (hard to tell obvs).

Q1 anyone know which size it's likely to be please?
Q2 what's the different application of the two? Is an MFI setup expecting the larger fitting and then, a larger ID fuel return line (10mm versus 8mm)? And if so is the fuel feed to the MFI pump going to need to be 10mm ID? And if the 2.4S MFI that's going in needs this, will I have fuel supply or return issues?
(that's rather more than 2 Qs!)

Thanks.
Graham

Well would you look at that, the last update January last year. I would say a lot has happened since, but it has been super slow progress for a number of reasons. But hey, time goes by and things get there eventually. To anyone who has forgotten  this is a replacement of the wheezy 2.0 E motor on carbs with a healthy Fulljames-verified 2.4s on MFI 8)

We have lift off Houston...

Let's hope this link works.

I'm on my way to pick it up. Apparently it goes like a scalded cat! I'll report back later.
