Re: Something Different to discuss and mull over
Interesting post.
For me the design, concept and execution of this car is superb.
There is nothing sacred about doing this to an E Type, there are loads of them around everywhere, hardly rare, so why not?
Customer obviously happy to pay for it.
The changes are nice, and in keeping with the original, it is obviously different, has to be, but just very unique.
The A post change is great, just not sure about those wheels, clever as they are, but personal taste.
The man is superbly talented from accurate sketches with clear changes to all the metalwork and overcoming the real build hurdles such work involves.
Gets 10/10 from me.
If Jaguar did a limited series of these (if they legally could) would they sell them?

By the time the V12 E-Type arrived Jaguar had already done everything to ruin the look of the original model anyway ...

The Eagle E-type speedster is another fantastic 'update' of the classic shape.

Overhauling is just that, a show, and a bit cringing imho, but the cars Foose do away from the cameras are jaw-dropping.
The work done on this E Type is real skill, wether anyone likes it or not is just personal opinion, but this level of work is rare to see imho.
