Some updates here, a few big ones on the way !

Door repair welded up, primered and now ready for some fresh single stage Polo red (custom mix due to OG paint fading)

Wood dash panels installed...Radio, switches and dials cleaned up (amazing what abit of toothpaste can do)

And the small matter of the engine going back together.....More to come on this, but just by the fact that the main seal had all but disintegrated shows just how overdue the rebuild was :shock:

I’ll add to the door card love, Chris.

A design touch that will always reward you, since the door cards are visible (and therefore admirable!) the whole time you are sat in the car.

Doorcards looking ace Chris

Bit concerned about those right angle brackets for the seat belt receivers though - they look like they would just buckle if put under any stress.
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah
