Yeah fingers crossed.. he’s been working hard during lockdown, so I’ve just been getting pictures sent as I can’t go down to see it.

Hopefully then mate, can’t wait to see yours built!

Managed to get an hour in on mine recently. So I stripped the front bumper off and removed the over riders which I hate! And de trimmed it. All the holes will be welded up.

Managed to get the trim off the one sill as well, needed to come off to access the only rust on the car. Going to just order up new sills to make it easier repair.

Still got to detrim the rear corners and the other sill.

Anyone need these awful things? Haha!

...glad to hear that, these things are born to be driven and need a decent ride height.

Best of luck with the project, will follow with interest :thumbright:

Cheers,

I really like your workspace; natural daylight... lacking in may newer buildings (silly).

There will always be plenty of stock cars for future study/reference. Make this one yours.

Cheers guys!

Yeh we are quite lucky to have our unit, we have several rooms, back half of the unit is just full of pinball machines, so blacked out the windows in there so it’s all lit up really well by the pins.

Managed to straighten out all the crumpled up tin and add on the extra bits that I was missing, so engine and gearbox now ready to go in. Air filters look bit on the clean side though.

Not had much chance to touch the car as of late with my job as a medical engineer for a supplier to the NHS, I’ve never been busier thanks to Covid.

However little bits have been happening as and when. I popped it on it’s temporary wheels and got it off the ramp for a bit. After having lowered the front and with the weight of engine and gearbox it definitely looks a bit better.

And just a close up to show how shite my paint actually is, and I love it haha!

I’ve been wiring in the dash, and my god it is complicated, I’ve wired up a few cars and never known one this complicated!! Gotta check a friends car locally to make sure I got it all right before I can connect a battery up and check it all works.
