Getting short of bullet point worthy facts, when they've come up with 'present ownership since 2018'.....Ferdynine11 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 1:11 pm This could be an interesting watch this weekend…….

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
This guy always seems to sell some tidy cars.
1968 PORSCHE 911 2.0 SWB 902
£89995ono. P/X welcome
Completely restored by Precision Porsche throughout 2015/2016 and finished in Its factory colour of Ivory white with a contrasting RS Style interior.
The car was imported from California in 1996 and later sold by Phil Raby Porsche specialists in 2015. The new owner then embarked on a complete restoration totalling over £78000 with the majority of the work carried out by Precision Porsche. Every penny is documented and accounted for and typed up in detail (pictured below)
The car has covered 78000 miles from
New and just 9000 since its restoration. The car gets used as intended and rightly so - but it’s looked after extremely well and has been serviced regularly since the restoration was completed.
Prior to import, the engine was fully rebuilt to “S” specification by the late Paul Weir, there is lots of information and praise on the internet for his attention to detail and expertise in early 911 engine building. The car produces 147bhp and runs like a Swiss watch. It still has its fully rebuilt 902 4 speed gearbox. When the car was restored, the engine was stripped once again and all neccessary ancillaries replaced and upgraded where possible.
Absolutely no stone was unturned during the restoration. All work has been carried out by some of the best specialists in the country with all parts sourced from the most reputable suppliers. Including Southbound trimmers, Rose Passion, Design 911, and Porsche Direct.
Absolutely everything mechanical is either new or refurbished e.g steering, suspension, braking, lines, buses, roll bars, calipers etc etc. everything has been either zinc plated or powder coated.
The 15” fuchs and all neccessary brightwork have been re-anodised by Nick Moss of Early 911.
The car drives impeccably. I’ve been a huge 911 enthusiast since I could drive and have been lucky enough to own and experience most of the 911 range (bar the super rare, expensive stuff) and still have never driven anything as light on its feet as this car. Whoever buys it will be the Cat that got the cream.
The cars history dates right back to the 70’s with every invoice present for the past 50 years. The history file is very impressive.
I’ll let the photos and the build description do the rest of the talking.
The car is in Wokingham, Berkshire.
Any inspection is Welcome.
As a classic / Sports car enthusiast I’m open to the possibility of a part exchange for something interesting, I like the idea of something a but more child friendly that I can enjoy with the family.

That car was sold through Collecting Cars ~ 2 years ago for £65K :

It was listed on Car & Classic's auction site earlier this year (Feb) where the bids went to £78k - but I think it didn't meet the reserve :

Price seems to increase with the change of colour of the bonnet stripes/ Heuer badges, or just simply removing them?? Still a nice car and spec.
