Re: Quatrelle: More French madness
Yes, collected 10 o'clock Wednesday night(!) and delivered 1.30pm today. Pretty amazing considering it was down near Toulouse and the driver went all the way up to Calais, and then back down to Cornwall!
It's so incredibly rust-free, I can't believe it. Everything works, engine is sweet. Love it!

That’s a great service. A company to remember for the future.
Love that colour on the car very much.

Brilliant! Once they put the border controls on the Tamar Bridge and A30, you'll be able to enjoy it properly!KS wrote:She's here! The car , that is... Well, so is my wife. Note the big smile!

Re: Quatrelle: More French madness
Cheers Darren. It bares scars of a life well lived but is rot free, mechanically spot-on and I’m trying to resist my usual urge to make it look better! Looking forward to getting it registered and putting some kilometres on the clock. It’s averaged less than 3000km a year for the last 10 years, so I’m sure it will be happy to see a little more use!

I guess a coat of underseal and wax injection would be a good idea before the UK weather gets to it?

Re: Quatrelle: More French madness
That's a priority, especially down here in salt-laden Cornwall. I'm sure I heard the poor thing crying in the night...

Home sick.
French mistresses all do the same.
My two are crying as they are both on ebay!
Hoping for a Japanese Geisha soon.
Protection will be a real investment to such a strong car Keith, don't delay.
It looks full of charm.
Are you sure it is yours, your beloved-one looks very (too?) happy with it.

34bhp of sheer power! Not bad condition under the bonnet - most have rot along the tops of the winner wings, or on the bulkhead.

Lovely car.
Possibly the Best in England?
35bhp, the days when that was enough.

Re: Quatrelle: More French madness
The body needs a bit of dent removal... Not sure whether to go that route or just leave it.

Re: Quatrelle: More French madness
IMHO, leave it wearing it's years, a straighter body will add little as long as the paint is solid.
Will it be registered soon?
