Chris Flavell ...

Post by Lightweight_911 »

.

I don't know any further details but I heard last night that Chris Flavell (fetuhoe on DDK) took his own life on Wednesday ...

That is sad. He helped me find some linkage bits for my car. RIP

Oh dear, that really is very very sad.
Had some dealings and chats with him over the years and bought some things too.

A real character and so very knowledgeable. His absence from the tech side of DDK over recent months did make me wonder how he was.
Terrible.

Another- I believe suicide now highest killer in the 40-50 age band. An indictment of our times.
Chris was a one-off without doubt- like most with genius.

That is very sad indeed.

He was a huge help to me with a number of little projects on the 914, was extremely generous with his time and knowledge. I spent many an hour in that tiny office chatting through stuff, at a time when he was in a great deal of pain (not that he wanted to show it)

RIP Chris
