My Dads beloved 1972 911T restoration
Hi guys been told to share my story with you all. My father Robert (Bob) Naylor RSNaylor Motor Engineering passed away just over 2 weeks ago he dedicated 30 years of his life to restoring Porsche’s for a living. He has left me his 1972 911T yes the one with the oil flap on the rear wing. I will be undertaking the restoration myself doing everything! What I learnt from my father this will be the most enjoyable project I have done. I wanted to share the journey of the restoration with everyone, hope you all can enjoy it as much as me. This car is not just a car to me in a way it’s my dads way of living on the car is more like family to me. Here’s a little starter on me and my family and what I will be doing. Thanks phil

Welcome Phil. Losing a parent is tough and this sounds like a wonderful tribute to your dad.
I’m really looking forward to following this as you bring it to fruition.

Hi Phil,
welcome from a french member of DDK
Also restoring a classic : an US 912 Targa built in 1969 and shipped to OAKLAND USA-CA, which I bought in Philadelphia in January 2012.
Like you my restoration is a family story : I have two grandsons & four granddaughters all very impatient with the completion of the restoration. Thank you for sharing your sorrow on You Tube, as a recent widower I can understand.
