Interesting they are keeping the turbo/turbo S hierarchy..

Looks pretty nice, if a bit anodyne. They have stayed away from i8 style crazyness but more interesting than a Tesla I guess.

Antoine, the picture of Mark Weber immediately made me think of the 'other' Antoine :)

I believe they've had 30,000+ pre-orders so i don't suppose they care much what DDK think.
Personally I quite like it.

Rather annoyed because due to massive changes at Porsche production at Zuffenhausen to accommodate the new build of the Taycan, I have been informed by sales at Porsche Mid Sussex that they will not be making available paint to sample request for the Cayenne. I don't know about other models but I wanted a different colour to what is available for a new truck for the wife. In fact the hope was to get one in India red to match my 911 which I thought would be pretty cool but it looks like it's going to have to be black, white or grey, how boring.

Interesting (well, to me at least) assembly video of the Taycan's assembly.
Sure is different to the assembly halls I spent a lot of time in down at Longbridge, Cowley and Detroit! ( in the late 80's) :)

I wonder if these cars will ever be repaired and ever ever be restored in the future?

Totally agree, a real cock-up against the rest of the car.
They look like they have been stolen from a 70's beach buggy...
No doubt they are very clever, but what a mistake, as bad as the series of strange lamps used by Subaru after the wonderful Impreza of the 90's.
