The lower part of the front/rear bumpers and lower part of the sills are normally painted black, not body colour, which makes this look closer to the ground than it would look normally.

You can see the black bits here...

I’ve known the car about 20 years.

It was owned by a friend for most of that and I spent quite a bit of time on track with it. It was maintained ridiculously and has inches thick records.

He completely rebuilt the engine about 4,000 miles ago. New main bearings, ARP rod bolts, new rings , pistons and cylinders checked and honed by Redtek. Heads skimmed, new exhaust valve guides by Redtek . New sport spring set from ebc racing etc etc. Suspension upgraded to KW3 with existing RS top mounts.

He sold it about 4-5 years ago and it then underwent a 2 year restoration to body, interior etc etc.

Not done many miles since finished and looks like new, hoping to put some more miles on it now Image

The yellow car is so good, but...
Could it be reasonably driven on the road that low?

Don’t think it’s much lower than mine and that coped with Welsh roads without issue. As Jason says his looks lower because the lower skirts are finished in body colour.

Also the 18s make the arch clearance look less.

Nice idea, I like that. Might have to steal it whilst still orange and before I buy a lower lip like on Jon's car. Looks stunning.
