Bob - I'll oblige - we can never have too many pictures of your car on the net !!

Here's one to whet your appetite:

For some reason it will not let me post links to pictures on the Early S Registry board.

The 2 'new' cars in my signature aren't here yet - here are a few pictures/details:

Image

Image

Started life as a 1970 911T but has 'evolved' to include:

RS steel rear flares & grp F/R bumpers
uprated brakes/suspension
7&8 x 15" Fuchs + BBS (set of each)
Rear roll cage & front strut brace
Rebuilt transmission
2.8 twin-plug engine based on '73 S using genuine RSR Mahle pistons/cylinders - puts out ~ 255 bhp

Image

Based on a 1972 911E with the following upgrades:

High compression 2.7 RS engine with only 2k miles since built (based on late 7R case)
rebuilt '76 915 transmission
Rebuilt suspension including: new 22/28 torsion bars; new Weltmeister F&R antiroll bars; new Bistein F&R struts/shocks; new bushes/wheel bearings throughout.
Carrera 3.2 brakes
etc, etc

$24k of receipts for above work in last 12 months...

This is mine, a '69T 2.2.

The black dot above the 'P' on the engine lid is a bee trying to hump it, must be the colour!

I have a lovely little SC, although i can't seem to get my head round how to post a pic of it. It was bought last year as a very well maintained car that pretty much 100% fitted the bill as a donor tub. the car was purchased, driven home and promptly pulled to bits! sold everything i could from the car other than suspension, steering, doors and electrics. the tub will be transformed into a 73 RSR rep with a high hp 3.3 turbo engine as power. not very in keeping with the real car but who gives a toss - it will fly.

engine bits list is currently:

3.3 turbo case, balanced shot peened rods with arp hardware, 8.1 je's, rebuilt twin plugged and flame ringed 3.2 carrera heads, supertec head studs, 3.2 carrera intake, SDS efi, huge intercooler, hayward & scott headers, k27 HF2 and hardly any silencing!

nothing done on the tub at the mo, because the engine is killing me. maybe next year.......(maybe 07...)

'73 RSR in the making (not any more!)
