FIA competition approved seating.

I have the Heigo cage now, which is quite a work of art. Now the work continues to get the 914
acceptable again for competition. Seating is next on the list. I note from several catalogues
that approved seats advertised are all quite a bit taller than Porsche 914 OE seats.
If I installed a pair of these taller jobs they would shut off a large chunk of rearward vision.
Any racers out there with similar experience who might offer comments and, perhaps, a solution?
If there are no simple answers, l'm leaning toward the Sparko range as I can get a healthy
discount in Italy, which is not too far away. In anticipation, my thanks!
Just in case of confusion, I was a member back in 2004, registered as 'mightyspyder'. I had a replica
550 Spyder for several years.When it came to my being active again my registration somehow had
mysteriously disappeared [these things happen, I know]. So I registered again as mightyVee.
Now today I couldn't get on site as mightyVee while, equally mysteriously, my old mightyspyder
site came up, untouched for many years. That's why there are two posts covering the same subject.
The doctor says I'll recover in time if I don't pick it....
