FIA competition approved seating.

I have the Heigo cage now, which is quite a work of art. Now the work continues to get the 914
acceptable again for competition. Seating is next on my list. I note from several catalogues
that approved seats advertised are all quite a bit taller than Porsche 914 OE seats.
If I installed a pair of these taller jobs they would shut off a large chunk of rearward vision.
Any racers out there with similar experience who might offer comments and, perhaps, a solution?
If there are no simple answers, l'm leaning toward the Sparko range as I can get a healthy
discount in Italy, which is not too far away. In anticipation, my thanks!
