A run to Connel

Post by bjmullan »

A few Scottish based DDK'ers had the pleasure today of meeting up with a few visitors for lunch in Connel near Oban. Lovely weather and great company, it's what DDK is all about. Here are a few pictures of the day.

Great to see you all and thanks for the hospitality. We’ve had a great three days of driving and it was nice to round it off with a meet up.

Not only that but lunch was taken on the banks of Loch Etive by some friends that had not met for several years. It was great to catch up. No rain all day either.

Better still, I got to drive one of those modern 993 Porsche’s for only the second time. It’s a fine motor.

Regards
Mike

Clearly it's now 'the' place to go...

Let's hope the owners of, to quote, "posh cars" don't ruin it for everyone else.

Note to self: must 'do' Scotland again! :)

Great stuff, that's the way to do it!

All the cars look well, and I am in love with Paul's blue 993.

Hi Clive

If you are coming across on the Cairnryan ferry and heading north we could rendezvous well before Connel if you wish.
However, considering your location you may be crossing to the UK further south.

Mike
